Overview
Kettle dyed a muted, blue-violet in a medium value.
A 100% Australian Merino wool in a Sport weight. It is soft, springy, and silky smooth. It is soft enough for next to skin wear. It is nice for baby and childrens item. It makes nice hats, scarves, shawls, etc. This would make luxurious socks. One hank is plenty for an adult pair of socks.
The put up weight is 100g which is approx.365 yards. Recommended gauge is 6-6 1/2 sts. per inch on #3-4 US needles. For socks I would recommend a gauge of 8 sts. per inch and whatever needles gets you that gauge. I would suggest 2.25mm-2.5mm.
